Perrine Herrenschmidt, Policy Advisor Financial Markets Infrastructure, European commission. Perrine works on the Commission’s proposal for a regulation on OTC derivatives, central counterparties and trade repositories (EMIR). Prior to joining the Commission she worked at the UK FSA as a banking supervisor and a policy advisor on MiFID and Credit Rating Agencies.

Anna Jegnell, Head of department Markets, Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority. Anna is head of the department Markets and has worked at the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority since 2009. She is responsible for matters relating to the oversight of securities market and its infrastructure. Anna is a replacement for Martin Anderson of ESMA’s Board of Supervisors. Previous to 2009 Anna worked about twenty years in banking, including as an analyst in the fixed income market.

Mattias Persson, Head of Financial Stability Department at Sveriges Riksbank. Mattias has worked at the Riksbank since 2001. He holds a PhD in Economics and has written a number of articles related to financial stability. Mattias is a member of the Committee of the Global Financial System and the Committee of Payment and Settlement Systems (the BIS). He is also a member of the Financial Stability Committee at the ECB under which he is the chairman of the Working group on Crisis Management and Resolution.

Fredrik Sjöblom, Head of Business Development, Burgundy. Joined Burgundy 2008 to introduce CCP. Fredrik has more than 15 years experience of working with Clearinghouses and exchanges worldwide and is now responsible for Business Development at Burgundy. Prior to Burgundy Fredrik worked at OMX both on business side and technology side.

Hi is the Head of Clearing Relations for SIX x-clear Ltd – the clearing arm of SIX Securities Services – and a member of the Executive Committee.

Helmut Wacket, Section Head, Target 2 Securities Team, European Central Bank. Having joined the ECB in 1999 Helmut has worked on payment system oversight issues and is now Head of the External Stakeholder Management Section in the T2S Division, responsible for policy and financial issues as well as for communication and harmonization. Helmut is the Secretary of the T2S Advisory Group.

Birger Schmidt, Chief Commercial Officer, VP Securities. Since joining VP in 1999 Birger has held leading positions in the company with focus on business development and client relations. Prior to joining VP he was heading the department for financial infrastructures at the Danish Bankers Association.
